This article from WSJ talks about how the company Softbank is going to buy the phone company Sprint for a lot of money.  The article says that this would be good for U.S. phone shoppers because it could make phones and plans cheaper.  U.S. phone shoppers are looking for the best prices on smartphones because everybody wants a smartphone.  The article talks about how this buying of Sprint could possibly help it compete with other big time phone companies.  I think this is a good move by this company.  This could help the company make more profits.  I do not have a smartphone because it is a lot of money so maybe this will bring down the price of smartphones.
